Healthy project delivery in South Hedland

Thomas Building recently delivered its 16 units for the WA Department for Health in South Headland.

The project, one of the largest in the region at the time of construction, consisted of one and two bedroom apartments to be used for the nurses of the Hospital located across the road.  

Thomas Building used local traders and suppliers for the majority of the goods and services required.

Construction commenced in October last year.

Project scope: bulk earthworks, construction of units including all internal finishes (painting/floor cover/blinds/security screens etc.)/ concrete car park/ free standing and connected car ports/ fencing/ stormwater management system, liaising with local authorities to install additional roadside car bays to local authority specifications, liaising with NBN Co to install NBN & Horizon Power to connect power from transformer to units.
